Living on Campus

Each student accommodation is close to amenities such as grocery stores, food and beverage, as well as on – door and outdoor sports and recreation facilities that facilitate student affair. There are 2400 residences for students and have certain types of residences suitable for students. this student residence features amenities such as single bathrooms, twins sharing up to four shared rooms with or without air conditioning. Student residences also have rooms for students with special need.

Amenities

Each student room is provided with internet connection to facilitate students to study. Each floor of the residential building has a stained space intended to allow students to cook snacks. Each student is allowed to cook a snack for themselves. There are also other facilities such as the provision of a mini fridge in each student room for those occupying the room in Student Village North (J Halls) while in the student Village South room (I halls) share a refrigerator in the same Pantry Lounge on each floor.

There are also facilities provided to students for free including free maintenance (during appointments) and free room cleaning service (upon request) in front of the Resident. The provision of a laundry washing machine is also given to the students but requires the students to use their own money to use the washing machine. There are some additional facilities for Students Village North has which has two Hubs namely Radius and Nexus among the facilities include a TV room, games room and lounge study.

Rooms and Rental

For rooms with air conditioning a separate meter reading for air conditioning use. Meter readings made before determining the amount of fees to be paid will be made monthly and charged to the population quarterly.

Floor plans

Students are only allowed to cook and heat food and soft drinks in the designated pantry area on each floor. Students are encouraged to bring their own utensils, crockery. Students are only allowed to bring halal food to be cooked and stored in the pantry. There are F&B shops on campus that operate 24x7 and there are vending machines.

Student Village South (Block I)

Single shared bathroom in 5 Room Flat.
Estimated floor area is 9.49 m.
With Air-Con = RM 585 per month per person
Without Air-con = RM 480 per month per person

Student Village South (Block I)

Twin Shared In 6 Bedded.
Estimated floor area is 12 m.
Room Rental = RM455 per month per person.

Student Village South (Block I)

Four shared Bathroom.
Estimated floor area is 148.24 m
Room Rental = RM395 per month per person.

There are several things that students can enjoy during the semester (February to May, and September to December) among them are:

Night Market (Pasar Malam) Tuesdays

Vendors will sell noodles and rice dishes, burgers and fries, snacks, light meals, drinks, fashion accessories, pre- owned books and more. this booth will be held from 4.30 pm onwards.

Food truck Thursdays

Each week, different food trucks will be available at the Nexus Hub.
Food and beverage will be available for purchase
The trucks will operate from 4-10pm
Campfire Night @ Radius.

Free light refreshments and fruits

There will be food trucks available but attendees can bring their own snacks. Campfire nights will be held on the last Thursday of every month from 7.30-10.00 pm.
