University Putra Malaysia abbreviated as Boda, formerly known as Agricultural University, abbreviated as Agricultural University. Putra University in Malaysia was founded in 1931 as the Agricultural School (Sekolah Pertanian) at that time. Serdang District Agricultural School was upgraded to Kolej Pertanian Malaya (Kolej Pertanian Malaya) in 1947. In 1973, the College of Agriculture of Malaya merged with the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Malaya (Fakulti Pertanian, Universiti Malaya) and became the Universiti Pertanian Malaysia (Universiti Pertanian Malaysia). In 1997, the former Prime Minister Dr Mahathir announced that the University of Mavisia would be renamed Putra University Malaysia. The University of Putra Malaysia Bintulu Sarawak Branch (UPMKB) was established in 1974 from a temporary school building located in (Semenggok, Kuching), and then moved to the current Sarawak Bintulu campus in 1987. The University of Malaysia is located in Selangor. Serdang District (Serdang), the school covers an area of ​​1108.103 public areas, with approximately 30,000 students. The University campus is located in the Bintulu, Sarawak, Sarawak, 13 kilometers away from Bintulu town. The campus covers an area of ​​714, 717 hectares and can accommodate 2,200 students.

Starting from the 2019/2020 semester, Boda’s main school will merge the original 17 dormitories into 9 existing dormitories. Dormitories K12 and K14 are collectively called Kolej Serumpun. The college in Bintulu also has a dormitory, Kolej Sri Rajang. The first-year students of Broad University must live in the dormitory. Each dormitory has its own activities. Students are encouraged to participate in these activities and obtain Merit so that they can apply for staying in the dormitory in the second year. Merit refers to what students need during the semester. The collected activity rights include dormitory activities, club activities, university activities and college activities. Although the dormitory has access control at 12 o'clock in the middle of the night, the dormitory can be said to have everything, not only the activity room, the dining room, the convenience store/Kiosk, the rest room, other facilities such as the stadium, and the pavilion, etc. for students to relax, read and read. The broad scenery is also top-notch! The roads on both sides of the campus are lined with red brick walkways, two neat rows of trees stand side by side, and there are also lotus blooming lakes, making the campus full of shady atmosphere. Bukit Ekspo is located next to the green lake, where a series of activities such as bazaars and mobile entertainment activities are often held. The beautiful lake often has traces of students walking, running, or chatting, which is very freehand! During the fruit season, you can buy fresh fruits here, cheap and delicious!

Boda campus not only has a variety of Malay food, but also Western food and Indian pancakes. Students can walk to Flat Ikan or "Old Flat" and "New Flat" in the HDB area near the college to eat economical mixed rice or economical rice, noodle soup and so on. There are also printing and photocopying shops, grocery shops, laundry shops, telephone shops and barber shops in the HDB area. It is even better if students have transportation, and they can also go to Sri Serdang or Seri Kembangan not far away for a meal. Every Monday, there is a night market in Seri Kembangan! Freshmen in the first year are not allowed to bring their own transportation into the school. After the first year, students can apply to the school. It is worth mentioning that Boda is the only university that provides Meal Plan Card service. Students can use this food card to buy food and drinks on campus. Not only that, Boda has also selectively included students from certain disciplines in the Book Plan (Book Plan) program. Students can use the book card to purchase books at designated locations, which is dazzling! With the card in hand, you don't need to bring too much cash with you.

There are three shopping malls near Boda, namely: IOI City Mall, The Mines and South City Plaza, where students can buy daily necessities. If you don’t want to go shopping, you can also choose to visit The Mines Wonderlands. In addition, students can also take the free Broad Bus to KTM Serdang Railway Station (KTM Serdang), so traveling to Kuala Lumpur or other places is definitely not a problem! In addition to the bus service provided by the school, students who want to leave the campus can also wait for public buses at the station outside the Faculty of Modern Language and Communication (Fakulti Bahasa Moden dan Komunikasi) and the station near CIMB Bank.
